Abstract PDF: Hepatic resection for Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is potentally curative treatment for selected patients. However, the roles of surgical treatment for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma are still uncertain. Although aggressive surgical approach is not recommandable to all patients with advanced HCC, it is clear there is a group of patients that will benefit. In this review article, the authors would like to examine the roles of surgical treatment for patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by ascertaining the feasiability and results of surgical resection.
